Aletsch Glacier

The Aletsch is 23 kilometers long, the largest glacier in the Alps, at the heart of the Swiss Alps Jungfrau Aletsch UNESCO World Heritage property in Valais, Switzerland. The cogwheel railway climbs to Jungfraujoch at 3,454 meters, where guided walks head straight onto the ice beneath the Eiger and Monch.
