Grand Teton National Park

In northwest Wyoming, just south of Yellowstone and minutes from Jackson, the Teton Range rises straight off the valley floor with no foothills, a sheer wall of granite peaks. At sunrise the historic barns of Mormon Row catch first light with the whole range behind them, and grizzlies, often mothers with cubs, feed in the valley meadows alongside moose and elk. Late May through September is the best season, with open trails and the most wildlife activity.
