Watching Orangutans at the Feeding Platforms

Sepilok in Sabah and Semenggoh in Sarawak, reached via Kota Kinabalu or Kuching airports, run scheduled morning feedings at the rainforest edge. Semi wild orangutans swing down from the canopy to the wooden platforms, mothers with babies clinging tight to their sides. The viewing walkways put you meters from the great red apes as they eat and play. Feedings run year round, with mornings the most active.
