Description: Niagara Falls spans the US Canada border: Horseshoe Falls on the Canadian side, the American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls on the US side. Canadian side Faces the Horseshoe Falls head on for the classic panorama along the Queen Victoria Park promenade, with the Hornblower boat into the mist, floodlit nights, falls view hotels, and an easy day trip from Toronto; the trade off is summer crowds and higher prices near the falls. US side Centers on Niagara Falls State Park, where Goat Island and Cave of the Winds put you at the very brink, looking down into the water as it pours over, and the Maid of the Mist sails from below; quieter and more natural, but the Horseshoe view is side on rather than frontal.
