Perito Moreno Glacier

Perito Moreno is the famous calving glacier of Los Glaciares National Park in Argentine Patagonia. Boardwalks face the tall ice wall where calving happens daily in season, and a 1 hour boat tour runs closer up to the ice wall; reserve ahead in peak season. Guided treks go further: Mini trekking goes out on the ice in crampons, and the Big Ice trek covers more ground.
